Jacob Lake Campground, AZ

The Jacob Lake campground is a perfect spot to set up if you are visiting the Grand Canyon National Park’s North Rim.  It makes for a great base for day excursions in the Grand Canyon or the surrounding high plateau.  If you like to learn more about the area, naturalist programs are offered here.  Across the highway from the campground is Jacob Lake Inn- has lodging, restaurant, and a service station.  There is a Forest Service Visitor Center near the Inn that has maps and information on the Kaibab National Forest.  There are numerous activities you can enjoy here including:  hiking, mountain biking and bird watching.

  • Limit of 14 Day stay

Getting there

Located 30 miles south and east of Fredonia at the intersection of US 89A and AZ 67,( both paved highways).
